MARIETTA, Ohio (WSAZ) โ Bomb technicians have been referred to as to analyze Tuesday night following calls of a suspicious merchandise on a Marathon Petroleum barge, West Virginia State Police affirm Wednesday.
West Virginia authorities responded between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tuesday.
The Coast Guard closed the Ohio River from mile marker 175 to mile marker 179 round midnight and reopened it at 5:20 a.m. Wednesday morning.
That is the third suspicious merchandise discovered on the water up to now week.
Monday, two suspicious gadgets have been discovered on a tug boat on the Ohio River close to Williamstown in Wooden County, West Virginia.
West Virginia State Policeโs Explosive Response Staff responded and safely eliminated each of gadgets situated on the boat.
