The Livingston Parish Sheriffโs Workplace reported the reason for loss of life has been decided for a Ok-9 deputy that died in August.
Sheriff Jason Ard stated the loss of life of โIvar,โ a five-year-old Ok-9 service canine, was resulting from warmth exhaustion after he was by accident left in a deputyโs automobile.
WAFB has requested LPSO for the id of the officer and to specify the precise nature of the self-discipline handed down. The company has refused to establish the officer concerned, citing that itโs the sheriffโs coverage to not disclose inner disciplinary motion nor title the deputy concerned.
