Winnipeg Jets coach Paul Maurice resigns

Paul Maurice has resigned as head coach of the Winnipeg Jets, the group introduced on Friday. 

Assistant coach Dave Lowry will assume the teaching duties on an interim foundation.

The Jets are 13-10-5 heading into Friday night time’s recreation towards the visiting Washington Capitals.
