Laakkuluk Williamson Bathory has gained this yr’s Sobey Artwork Award for rising artists.
The Iqaluit-based Inuk multidisciplinary artist obtained the $100,000 prize at a ceremony on the Nationwide Gallery of Canada on Saturday.
