Prepare carrying ethanol derails close to Martin County Fairgrounds

FAIRMONT, Minn. (KEYC) — A practice derailment close to the Martin County Fairgrounds has pressured officers to close down site visitors.

The incident occurred simply after 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Authorities say eight automobiles carrying ethanol left the tracks, with 4 of them overturning.

The wreck has blocked the crossing on County Street 39.

Martin County Sheriff’s Workplace has shut down site visitors northbound on County Street 26 and one hundred and ninetieth Avenue, in addition to southbound at one hundred and thirtieth St and one hundred and ninetieth Avenue.
