VAN CORTLANDT VILLAGE, Bronx (WABC) — Fireplace officers say three firefighters are amongst eight individuals who had been injured in a multi-alarm residence fireplace within the Bronx.
The blaze broke out round 4:12 a.m. Thursday at a constructing within the 100 block of Van Cortlandt Avenue West in Van Cortlandt Village.
Video from the Citizen app confirmed fireplace capturing from the roof of the 6-story constructing.
Amongst roughly 150 firefighters who responded, a number of had been seen serving to plenty of residents to security.
A complete of eight folks had been being handled for accidents.
5 residents had been being evaluated on the scene for accidents described as non-life-threatening.
Three firefighters had been taken to space hospitals to be handled for minor accidents.
