A Flint man caught on digicam beating his canine with a brush is now dealing with prices.
The incident occurred on Oct. 11. Lovell Farmer, a 38-year-old man from Flint, claims he was making an attempt to coach his canine that had run away to a neighbor’s dwelling down the street.
Nevertheless, surveillance video reveals Farmer beating the canine with a brush.
“So, he has a brush, a brief broom in his left hand, and he is beating the canine and disciplining the canine. He beats, disciplines the canine and drags the pet away by the left hind leg,” Genesee County Sheriff Chris Swanson mentioned.
“You aren’t going to get away with beating and abusing or profiting from weak individuals or animals on this county,” Swanson mentioned.
Swanson credit residents for stepping up and taking motion to assist get the canine, who’s being referred to as ‘Candy Pea’, out of an abusive scenario.
Candy Pea was turned over to Genesee County Animal Management and is being cared for by a foster household.
Farmer is dealing with felony prices of animal abuse, neglect, torture, abandoning an animal, and a unrelated cost of delivering and manufacturing of cocaine.
