Brinks truck driver turns tables on would-be robber in Philadelphia

It occurred round 4:30 p.m. alongside the 1900 block of North fifth Road.

Officers say a male suspect tried to rob the armored truck driver at gunpoint.

Because the suspect introduced the theft, the Brinks driver pulled out a gun and opened fireplace.

It is unclear if the suspect was shot, however police say he did drop his gun and took off empty-handed.

No accidents have been reported to the motive force.
