Like his father, 5-year-old Emmitt Cox grows pumpkins.
The household grew so could gourds final 12 months that they did not know what to do with all of them.
It was Cox who advised they arrange a roadside stand.
He earned $400 that was donated to Toys for Tots.

Sadly, Cox was unhappy to report that this 12 months’s harvest wasn’t as bountiful.
“A number of the seeds didn’t develop — not a lot rain,” he stated.
“He had talked about his pumpkin cash and I stated if you wish to donate a few of it that is completely tremendous,” Emmitt’s mother Anna Cox stated. “And straight away he stated, ‘nope I’ll donate all of it.’ If a 5-year-old can put others earlier than himself, perhaps all of us can.”
Emmitt Cox needs to donate the $100 earned from this 12 months’s crop to an area church.

He is enlisting the assistance of his youthful brother to assist harvest future pumpkins.
