NEW YORK — 4 individuals had been injured in an explosion in a passageway close to Occasions Sq., Manhattan in New York Metropolis early Monday morning.

At round 7:20 am native time, a 27-year-old man, who had an improvised, low-tech explosive system hooked up to his physique, deliberately detonated the system, injuring himself and three others, New York Metropolis Police Commissioner James O”Neil mentioned at a press convention held close to the scene.
