ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com)– Native households impacted by gun violence are placing down roots at a St. Louis park.

Saturday, Higher Household Life hosted a tree planting ceremony at Penrose Park in North Metropolis. Fifteen households who’ve misplaced a loved-one to gun violence had been invited to plant a tree of remembrance.

 That is the 4th tree planting occasion organized by Higher Household Life to honor victims of gun violence.
